JOB PURPOSE

The post holder will support the successful delivery of different projects by gathering information about time, cost and quality constraints, identifying and analysing data trends and driving actions to their conclusion.

PARAMETERS

This role is based within the Responsible Business department and an eye for detail is essential.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of initiatives, campaigns and events that engage internal and external stakeholders Help in the preparing and distributing of project reports on activity to internal/ external stakeholders and help make effective decisions to ensure budget remains on track.
  • Maintain, update and report key project data using various tracking tools
  • Support the delivery of Driving Change’s three signature programmes
  • Preserve existing links with local schools/community groups and develop community and/or employability related activities
  • Responding to queries from external organisations as well as colleagues within our business
  • Identify any potential issues as the project progresses
  • Any other duties appropriate to your role.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCE

Essential:

EE1  1 year of office work, within an Admin role

Desirable:

ED1 – Personal experience of Volunteering

SKILLS

Essential:

SE1 – Word, Excel and Outlook

SE2 – Highly organised with ability to manage own time, and strong eye for detail.

SE3 – Numerate, literate and good interpersonal skills.

SE4 – Highly conscientious, diligent, self-motivating and enthusiastic.

KNOWLEDGE

Desirable:

KD1 – Knowledge of community action, social and environmental issues

QUALIFICATONS

Essential:

ED1 – To have one of the following:

  • a level 3 NVQ/SVQ qualification
  • a BTEC National qualification
  • two passes at A-Level 
  • a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
