Due to an exciting period of rapid expansion and growth, we are currently recruiting for an additional National Sales Executive to join our successful National Waste Management Team.

We are seeking an energetic, motivated and articulate team player to Join our National Sales Team as a National Sales Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales throughout the UK and ideally have experience of working within waste management, plant hire, facilities management, housing associations, the roofing sector or similar construction based industries. However this is not required as full training will be provided. Qualified candidates should be self-starters with proven track records of success and will be responsible for following up on cold calling, prospecting and qualifying leads. This is a remote / field based role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell Kenny Waste Management products and services to large construction related businesses and achieve annual income targets.
  • Develop and nurture effective working relationships with new and existing customers in person, via telephone and email communication.
  • Source new clients and promote sales to them while identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Be knowledgeable about the full range of products and services offered by KWM.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.
  • Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer with the support of our administrative team.
  • Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements and present an appropriate pitch to make a sale
  • Maintain and update HubSpot CRM to demonstrate activity towards creating a healthy sales pipeline to achieve the targets and results set
  • Handle objections by working through differences to a positive conclusion.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience of selling services / products to a high level
  • Experience of writing new client proposals and pitches which generate new business
  • Territory management
  • Experience of preparing winning tenders
  • Excellent presentation skills, comfortable adapting to different levels of presentation, i.e. site level through to board level

SKILLS:

  • Ability to identify customer’s needs and challenges and present a solution which addresses these
  • Ability to use a variety of styles to persuade, negotiate and influence appropriately
  • Highly organised with an ability to manage own time and plan short, medium and long term
  • Highly charismatic, credible and personable
  • Good IT/keyboard skills.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and honest.
