Kenny Waste Management is awarded the FORS Bronze Accreditation

Kenny Waste Management has been awarded the FORS Bronze Accreditation for the second year running.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme promotes best practice in the commercial vehicle sector. FORS now has over 5,000 members, and is increasingly recognised as a leading body for logistical accreditation and for raising the professional bar across Europe.

The award scheme is voluntary; however, it indicates to our clients and employees that we take our operations, safety and environmental responsibilities seriously. FORS members are prepared to go the extra mile (above legal minimum requirements) to make sure their fleet, drivers and procedures are working to extremely high standards.

Lauren Ball, who among her many roles is our FORS coordinator, says:

“A big thank you to all in the team who have got behind this award and helped us to achieve it again. It demonstrates how dedicated Kenny Waste Management’s drivers are to vehicle safety.”

Lauren has plans to take FORS to the next level and go for the Silver Accreditation. This progression means that as well as maintaining the Bronze standards, we have to meet certain other stringent criteria, including driver licencing verification and specific safety systems. Lauren believes we can go further:

“Thanks to the commitment of all our drivers, I’m confident that we can continue to meet FORS’ standards and progress to the higher levels.”

We look forward to letting you know this time next year!
