FAQs
MEWP Hire questions
Can’t see what you’re looking for? Email rehire@kennywastemanagement.co.uk or call 03330 525 600 and our team will help.
What does MEWP stand for?
MEWP stands for mobile elevating work platform. It’s the general term for powered access machines such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers, boom lifts and spider lifts.
Which MEWP is right for my job?
It depends on the working height, how far you need to reach outwards, the ground conditions and site access. Share these details in your enquiry and our team will recommend a suitable machine.
Do MEWP operators need training?
Yes. MEWPs must only be operated by people who are trained and competent to use them. Make sure your operators hold the appropriate training before the machine arrives on site.
How do I get a quote?
Use the enquiry form on this page: MEWP hire is already selected, and you can add any other equipment you need. You can also email rehire@kennywastemanagement.co.uk or call 03330 525 600. Our equipment hire team will be in touch with availability and pricing.

Great experience with Kenny Waste Management. Clear around costs and process. Called for the collection of the skip provided and to pay and Noah who assisted was excellent. Very helpful and polite but most of all personable and engaged. I'd definitely recommend and also return for future requirements. Great work all!
