FAQs
Access Platform Hire questions
Can’t see what you’re looking for? Email rehire@kennywastemanagement.co.uk or call 03330 525 600 and our team will help.
What is an access platform?
An access platform is a powered machine that lifts an operator on a guarded platform to work at height. Vertical mast platforms are compact, which makes them well suited to indoor work and tight spaces.
Can access platforms be used indoors?
Yes. Compact vertical mast platforms are designed to work in confined spaces and fit through standard doorways, which makes them popular for internal works.
Should I choose an access platform or a scissor lift?
Vertical mast platforms are smaller and suit one person working in tight spaces, while scissor lifts offer a larger platform for more people, tools and materials. Tell us about the job and we’ll recommend the right machine.
How do I get a quote?
Use the enquiry form on this page: Access platform is already selected, and you can add any other equipment you need. You can also email rehire@kennywastemanagement.co.uk or call 03330 525 600. Our equipment hire team will be in touch with availability and pricing.

Great experience with Kenny Waste Management. Clear around costs and process. Called for the collection of the skip provided and to pay and Noah who assisted was excellent. Very helpful and polite but most of all personable and engaged. I'd definitely recommend and also return for future requirements. Great work all!
