Thriving Community Transformation in Little Hulton

This year, braving some very unpredictable weather, our team joined hands with local charity CommUNITY Little Hulton to revitalize a dull, disused car park into a thriving green space.

Working alongside likeminded local businesses, ForHousing, Liberty, and Seddon, our team of staff volunteers tackled the task of clearing and removing waste, setting the stage for a significant transformation.

The Peel Park Pavilion project promises a thriving green space for local people, including raised planters, a wildflower meadow, bug boxes, and a play area, breathing life into the community.

Watch this amazing case study, created by the team at Seddon, to see our collaboration in action!

Our own team were delighted to see how their volunteering work formed part of a wider collaboration with local partner organisations, helping to create what will be a fantastic resource for Little Hulton.

As a national supplier with strong family business values, we are committed to being a good neighbour and employer. At Kenny Waste Management, we understand that volunteering is a very fulfilling way to add value to the communities we are a part of. That’s why all our employees are entitled to take 2 full days of paid volunteering each year to support causes that are close to their hearts.

This project not only transforms physical spaces but also strengthens the connections within our community.

A special thanks to everyone involved – our dedicated staff volunteers, Liberty, and ForHousing – for playing a vital role in making this project a success. Let’s continue nurturing our community roots and witness the positive transformation unfold.
