Supply Chain Apprentice “Level Three Business Administration

Ideal for those wanting to gain experience in various Supply Chain related areas of the business and assist the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain function, through effective first-class administrative support.

Customer Service Advisor

  • Job Title: Customer Service Advisor
  • Working Week: 40hrs between 07:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
  • Holidays: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Salary: £17,500 – £20,000 dependent upon experience
  • Location: Lester Road, Little Hulton, M38 0PT

Job Purpose

To receive, process and respond to all account customers’ daily queries and requirements in a professional and timely manner.

Principal Job Duties

  1. Communicate efficiently, politely and clearly with customers and waste partners both verbally and in writing over the telephone and via email.
  2. Process customers’ requests by raising and sending purchase orders to existing waste partners whilst ensuring that current customer pricing structures are adhered to and that the % gross profit is equal to or above the specified minimum.
  3. Keep accurate written records of all incoming calls.
  4. Resolve basic customer queries using own initiative and escalate complex issues to line manager 5. Understand and resolve basic customer waste reporting queries.
  5. Handle a small number of existing customer accounts by acting as the key internal contact.
  6. Conduct daily checks with all waste partners to ensure that the days movements are scheduled to go ahead as planned.
  7. Ensure that all waste partner documentation is current and compliant.
  8. Create basic reports using Microsoft Office software when required to do so
  9. Ensure that all onsite skips are moved according to Kenny Waste Management terms and conditions.
  10. Input and maintain up-to-date customer information in Waste Logics.

Requirement: Must have a minimum of 2 years customer service experience within an office or call centre environment.

Plant Fitter

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Plant Fitter, where you will be based in our workshop in Little Hulton. However, you will be expected to travel to one of our depots in Audenshaw, transport can be provided.

The role involves carrying out repairs and servicing on medium to heavy plant such as JCB’s, Liebherr’s and CAT machines. The range of plant includes 360 excavators, grabs, loading shovels, dumpers, telehandlers, FLTs, tracked shredder and a crusher.

Experience & Skills

  • You must have prior experience of working with medium to heavy plant
  • Must be organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a plant maintenance schedule
  • Must be hardworking, flexible and reliable
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Salary & Hours

  • Excellent salary, dependent upon experience
  • Monday to Friday: 9hrs per day, including 1hr break, between 08:00 – 18:00
  • Saturdays are options and available if work demands it

7.5 or 18 Tonne Skip Loader Driver

7.5 or 18 tonne skip loaders drivers required for an immediate start, to drive in and around the Greater Manchester area. Previous experience would be advantageous; however, it is not required as training will be provided.

Experience & Skills

  • You must have your CPC and Tachograph cards

Salary & Hours

  • Excellent salary, dependent upon experience
  • Monday to Friday: starting approx. 5.30am
  • Saturdays are options and available if work demands it

Hazardous Waste Coordinator

Do you have what it takes to deliver exceptional levels of customer service? If so, we would like to hear from you.

You must have at least 2 years administrative experience of dealing with hazardous waste documentation and have a very good understanding of ADR. We are looking for candidates who are friendly, great communicators and excellent at building rapport with customers over the phone.

JOB PURPOSE

You will be responsible for ensuring all hazardous waste drum requests are managed and administered properly, in line with the company KPIs and to meet the customer’s needs. Managing any ad-hoc hazardous waste inquiries/pricing and collections etc. To receive, process and respond to your construction waste accounts daily queries and requirements in a professional and timely manner.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES

  • Ensure all hazardous waste drums are delivered/collected to the customers deadline
  • Be aware of all hazardous waste entering and leaving our site, including providing evidence and quantities to allow the quarterly hazardous waste returns to be completed
  • Obtain quotes from third parties/waste partners for an ad-hoc collections
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and booking, maintaining orders of all hazardous waste drums on the CRM system
  • Manage a small number of existing customer accounts by acting as a key account advisor by ensuring that all onsite skips are moved according to our terms and conditions
  • Assist the Customer Service Team during high demand periods

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2years dealing with hazardous waste
  • A good understanding of ADR

SKILLS

  • Competent IT skills, to be able to navigate and use all IT software utilised by KWM
  • Ability to understand and interpret information/problems and respond accordingly
  • Be able to work methodically and accurately with strong attention to detail
